History of Our Relationship
ok so like when I first started playing Genshin, I thought I was gonna fall for Kaeya or Albedo. because like. Kaeya was the flirty forward type that I liked and Albedo was the nerdy smart type I liked. something in my head (maybe what I absorbed from fanon) made me assume that Childe would be some smug nasty figure. but I got to the Liyue Archon Quest, and he was pleasant. he was polite. and then I played his story quest and it was all downhill from there.

Most importantly, he is CANONICALLY EXTREMELY DEVOTED.

Dreams I Have Had Including Him
I was at a convention and I saw him in the crowd wearing lots of ear piercings and some white shirt with a dark e-boyish square printed on it.
I met Childe in a Home Depot parking lot, and we hit it off and exchanged phone numbers. I agreed to come over to his house. His house was a plaster-white tower with a spiral staircase leading through floors each assigned a tarot arcana. His bedroom had yellow walls and was filled with Victorian dolls. I saw Invader Zim comics on his bookshelf. A woman who was his mother barged into his room to yell at him, and that totally killed the tension we'd built up in the room.
I saw him in my highschool's halls and we hugged before parting ways to go to class.
I was in a giant submarine that was a prison-turned-cruise-resort-thing in the wake of a world that had been pretty much entirely infected by a zombie virus. I was on a mission to sniff out a monster on the submarine that was killing kids, and maybe also find a bit of the zombie virus that had gotten onto the sub. Childe was there, and I talked to him to recieve a side-quest about looking for treasure under floorboards.
Childe was an orca merman, and we were in a lake with a mossy shore looking for a place to make love. There were too many orcas in the lake to do any of that stuff though...
